How to Activate QR Table Order in Semart Web and Semart POS
Set up a Storefront URL, connect a live Semart POS terminal, print table QR cards, and manage guest orders through the Storefront queue.

QR Table Order lets guests scan a code at their table, browse your menu, and send a dine-in order from their phone. Staff review the order in Semart POS before preparing it. Further orders at the same table can join the active bill, which the cashier settles when the visit ends.
When is it useful?
Cafés and restaurants that want guests to order without waiting for a staff member to take the first round.
Busy service periods when staff need one queue showing each table, order details, and pending decisions.
Tables that order another round before paying one combined bill at the cashier.
Activate QR Table Order
In Semart Web (Login at semart.my), select the correct business. As the business owner, open Settings → Storefront.
Enable Open Tickets. Settings > Open Tickets.
Under Store URL, choose an address and select Save URL settings. This is the customer-facing menu address.
On an assigned, active Semart POS terminal with an internet connection, open Settings → General and turn on Show Storefront orders. Keep that POS online to receive orders.
Return to Semart Web, select Check POS status, then Enable Storefront. If the button is unavailable, follow the readiness message shown on the page.
Under Table QR codes, name each table and select Add table. Use View QR, then Download card or Print card, and place the card at the matching table.
Scan one card with a phone, submit a test order, and confirm it appears on the receiving POS before opening to guests.
Manage orders in Semart POS
On the sales screen, open Open Tickets → Storefront. A badge shows orders needing attention. In Needs action, check the table, order reference, items, choices, add-ons, notes, and total. Select Accept to take the order or Reject if it cannot be fulfilled.
Accepted orders appear under Active bills. Guests can send another round for the same table visit. Resolve every pending round before selecting Settle bill; collect payment at the cashier using an available manual payment method, then print the receipt if needed. QR Table Order does not collect online payment in this flow.
If you need to stop taking new orders, use Pause orders in Semart Web. If no POS is receiving Storefront orders, guests can browse but cannot submit a new order.
