Step 1: Register a Semart Account
- Open the Semart POS app or visit data.semart.my.
- Click on the Sign Up button.
- Fill in the required details and submit the registration form.
- Once registered, log in to your Semart account.
Step 2: Create Your First Product
- Navigate to Products > Items.
- Click on Add Item.
- Enter the product details:
- Name: The name of your product.
- Price: Set the selling price.
- Variants (if applicable): Different types of the product (e.g., Cheeseburger, Beef Burger, Chicken Burger).
- Modifiers (optional): Add-ons such as sauces or condiments.
- Click Submit to save your product.
Note: You can also create simple products directly on the Semart POS app, but we recommend using Semart Data (data.semart.my) for advanced customizations.
Step 3: Set Up Your POS Device
- Open the Semart POS app.
- Create a new Identifier to track sales by device.
- Click Add New POS and give it a recognizable name (e.g., “Samsung Galaxy” for your mobile device).
- Your previously created products will now appear on the Semart POS app.
Step 4: Make Your First Sale
- Select products to add them to the ticket.
- Click Charge to proceed to payment.
- Choose a payment method.
- Confirm the payment – a receipt will be generated automatically.
You’re now ready to start selling with Semart!
