How to Register a Semart Account and Start Selling

Step 1: Register a Semart Account

  1. Open the Semart POS app or visit data.semart.my.
  2. Click on the Sign Up button.
  3. Fill in the required details and submit the registration form.
  4. Once registered, log in to your Semart account.

Step 2: Create Your First Product

  1. Navigate to Products > Items.
  2. Click on Add Item.
  3. Enter the product details:
    • Name: The name of your product.
    • Price: Set the selling price.
    • Variants (if applicable): Different types of the product (e.g., Cheeseburger, Beef Burger, Chicken Burger).
    • Modifiers (optional): Add-ons such as sauces or condiments.
  4. Click Submit to save your product.

Note: You can also create simple products directly on the Semart POS app, but we recommend using Semart Data (data.semart.my) for advanced customizations.

Step 3: Set Up Your POS Device

  1. Open the Semart POS app.
  2. Create a new Identifier to track sales by device.
  3. Click Add New POS and give it a recognizable name (e.g., “Samsung Galaxy” for your mobile device).
  4. Your previously created products will now appear on the Semart POS app.

Step 4: Make Your First Sale

  1. Select products to add them to the ticket.
  2. Click Charge to proceed to payment.
  3. Choose a payment method.
  4. Confirm the payment – a receipt will be generated automatically.

You’re now ready to start selling with Semart!
